Privacy & Security

We've taken vast efforts to ensure a safe, secure shopping experience. We also respect our customer's privacy, and their right to not be auto-added to mailing lists of any kind.

SECURITY:

Information you submit to us (name, email, billing information, etc.) is over a secure, encrypted connection. Our internal systems are also secured and have restricted access. We regularly test our systems, both online and offline, to make sure we're doing all we can to protect sensitive data. And yes, we consider your contact information sensitive, and therefore have a strict policy for securing this data.

PRIVACY:

The privacy of our customers is a top priority for us. We understand, though, that sometimes there's confusion about how information is actually collected, and why certain information is collected. By visiting the Party at Lewis Site or submitting your personal data, you accept the terms described in this Privacy Policy. From time to time we may modify these rules. We will notify you of any significant change by posting a notice on our home page. Your continued use of the Party at Lewis Site after any modification indicates your agreement to the new terms.

Here's how we collect, use and protect any personal or business information you provide to us via our web site, email, telephone, fax or mail.

What We Collect...
While visiting our web site, information is stored in a log file for the sole purpose of analyzing what pages are accessed, from which locations and whether or not errors occured. This process does not collect any personal or identifable information about you. We also use analytics software (such as Google Analytics), which also logs information. Again, this information doesn't identify you, but simply tells us how our site is being accessed, how much time people spend and what products or categories they visit most. The information is reviewed so we can determine what things we may need to change.

While shopping, a SESSION ID tracks movements and your IP address (a number that can only identify you in case of a court order) is stored for authentication and verification reasons only. This action is standard in all shopping cart software. Credit card information is stored securely and in encrypted form, separate from your contact information. This process helps further protect identities and prevents auto association of cardholders with their card numbers.

We use Google Analytics, Google AdWords Conversion tracker, and other Google services that place cookies on a browser across the website. These cookies help us increase the website’s effectiveness for our visitors. These cookies are set and read by Google. To opt out of Google tracking, please visit this page (http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/).

We use AdWords remarketing to market our sites across the web. We place a cookie on a browser, and then a 3rd party (Google) reads these cookies and may serve an ad on a 3rd party site. You may opt out of this ad serving on Google’s opt out page. If you are concerned about 3rd party cookies served by networks, you should also visit the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/).

How We Use Information...
After placing an order, your name, billing and shipping contact information and order details are kept on file for two specific reasons: 1. To reference should you have any questions regarding your order; 2. To notify you of any post-order issues that may affect you personally. This information is never sold, traded or distributed to others.

If you sign up for our email list, we store this information in a secure location. We do not distribute email list data to any third party.

What You Can Do...
You have the option to opt-out of any notification altogether, and be removed from most all of our database systems. However, we cannot remove ordering information.

Fine Print...
The staff serving Party at Lewis is fully aware of our privacy policy and our procedures in regard to violation. While we make every effort to adhere to our policies, court orders may supersede printed policies. From time to time, we may make changes to this policy. Those changes will be reflected on this page.
